'Til death do us part
Natalia and Will said their spooky "I do's" as a two-part celebration. They had an intimate wedding at Chapel in the Hollow on a Thursday, followed by a roaring shindig (those are my words) on Saturday.
Spooky meets the sweetest romance, not entirely unlike Halloween candy.

a Day to exlore, a day to marry your best friend
downtown knoxville
Shana and Shelly came came to town for their courthouse elopement, but wanted to make a day of it. Even though there weren't any guests for their elopement, it seemed like the entire town was celebrating with them! We hardly made it 50ft without someone congratulating these wonderful people.
We started the day around downtown, had imported desserts at the French Market, then wrapped up at Ijams ( i-ams) nature preserve. Some of the best Knoxville has to offer.

Only the coldest day of the year
Cove lake state park
Not everyone can pull off a wedding at 4 degrees Fahrenheit with wind speeds at 32mph. But Rachel and Tyler certainly did! It took Hot Hands, very brisk walking, and a stellar matron of honor.
The only thing more warming than the signature recipe chai was to see these two smile at each other. Yeah I said it.

Nature's epcot in east tennessee
Zoo knoxville
Whisked away to elephants, feeding pudgies in an aviary, basking in the glow of bamboo light, where else could it be but the zoo?
Felicity and Josh eloped about a month before, but had their reception at Zoo Knoxville. The food was amazing, the sights were amazing, F & J were otterly adorable, and all the guests were party animals. Talk about a roaring-good time.

From the getting ready all the way to goodbye, I'm there to serve you, to cheer you on, and to make artwork you'll love. Your destination wedding experience is going to be AMAZING, and I see it as my job as a photographer to add to that experience..
Need a co-adventurer with a camera for your destination elopement or destination wedding? Let's do this!
We get connected over email to see if we're a good fit! It's just as important to have a photographer you look forward to hanging out with as quality imagery. After all, your photographer will spend the most amount of time with you on your wedding day (other than your spouse-to-be). Your comfort and ability to have fun with me directly impacts how you feel, and I want you to have the BEST time while you make forever memories.
If preferred, you are also welcome to send inquiry by owl, but know it may take a while longer than digital mail. Carrier pigeon no longer excepted... don't ask.
If we're a good fit, I recommend booking ASAP to secure your date.
1. Say Hello
2. Engagement Session
Your engagement session is the perfect time to get a feel for how the portrait part of your day is going to go! I'll guide you through some posing/prompt basics so that you'll feel extra confident on your wedding day.
There are two main types of engagement sessions that my couples can do: personalized activity or grand adventure. Couples that have a niche hobby/interest such as ceramics, ballroom dancing, or medieval swordsmanship who want to incorporate that into their engagement can! And those that would rather go adventuring in outdoor spaces or around old city markets can do so instead!
Either way, we'll get a chance to have some photographic fun together!
Time to sort out your wedding timeline! And as long as you're not a time-traveler, it's actually pretty straight forward! (Please note, if you are a time-traveler, we've already talked, so you're good.)
I usually will suggest a first look to help maximize the time you get to share with your friends and family. If you need help organizing your day to make it the best it can be, I am happy to lend my professional input.
3. Wedding timeline chat
You made it! Soak in this amazing time with your friends and family. I'll be there to capture all the details and moments for the entire coverage window you booked with Humble Perspectives, leaving you nothing to do but enjoy yourselves!
You're laughing, maybe crying (happy tears), and experiencing your day to its absolute fullest.
4. WEdding day!
In about 6 weeks, you'll get an email with a link; a magic link to you gallery full of amazing photos and the memories they carry. I know it'll be tempting to watch your email every 5 minutes. I'll email you and keep you up to date on delivery so you don't have to spend your honeymoon in your phone.
Speaking of, if you opted for a Honeymoon Box, you will have left your wedding day with some of your photos already!

We were so stressed with the day's events and he kept us calm! He made taking pictures so fun and easy. He also made sure we had a photo schedule, that way there were no hiccups and everyone knew when they needed to take photos.
Micah has by far the best communication skills I have seen in a while! He made sure to stay in contact before, during, and after. He was so patient with my busy schedule and made it easy to respond to. I highly recommend him!
